Squad is the new efficient, and fast payment solution in Nigeria that offers payment across diverse sectors with modern technologies. Users can transfer and receive payment utilizing various modes that suits them. The beauty of Squad lies in it’s seamless integration with its parent companies GTCO and Habari’s vast banking infrastructure and e-commerce experience.
After joining the team, my objectives were clear after a very short period of time. The whole visual presence of the brand and the product had to be brought back to life and refreshed so it can fit in today's market. Having a background in graphic design as well, the whole process began with me proposing a remake of our brandguidelines and executing it, introducing fresher colors, fonts, gradients, and other visually appealing elements.

THE
PROBLEM
There is no doubt that over the years, Nigeria has made noticeable progress in its desire to create a robust payment system through several reforms targeted at restoring confidence in the system.
However, the need for a streamlined and integrated payments solution with the goal of simplifying payments for the everyday user and businesses is at an all time high. Activities such as booking airline tickets, cinema and concert tickets, or even simplifying payments using electronic platforms at supermarkets and restaurants in Nigeria.
THE
SOLUTION
Squad has been founded to be able to fill this massive gap in the market with the backing of its parent company GTCO, the foremost commercial bank in NIgeria. GTCO already has the banking and financial infrastructure and years of CRM under its belt. We aim to create a sound payment system infrastructure, where operators and customers can transact business with confidence and convenience, trust and timeliness.

A billing service can turn any cumbersome processing task into a positive - Not only does this reduce costly development timescales with a billing framework that could only exist with this service, I was blown away by the versatility of its range of features.
